JAMILLE JORDAN is a furniture and lighting designer and manufacturer. His workshop is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where his pieces are made by hand.

Inspired by Japanese and mid-century modern style, JAMILLE JORDAN makes beautiful pieces with traditional workmanship and unexpected elements.

Jamille uses sustainable materials to make his furniture (see each product for details). Every piece is made locally.

In 2009 Jamille spent the summer in Nova Scotia at Windhorse Farm in the saw mill, learning about sustainable forestry and how to manage raw lumber. He continues a relationship with Windhorse,  getting married on the farm in 2013.

Raised in Vermont, Colorado and Nova Scotia, Jamille learned how to make things and solve problems from his dad, who could make anything and solve any problem.

His great great great grandfather was Thomas Kemp--a famous ship builder known for designing the Pride of Baltimore. He hopes this kind of thing runs in the family--making highly functional objects that are simply beautiful.
